Hi! My name is Carla. I went to RISD for graphic design and work in glass, screenprint, and sew. I’m inspired by rainbows, candy wrappers, ghost signs, neon signs, old party stores, and all things Easter-core—molded chocolate, pearly eggs, etc.
I loved Xerox machines as a kid. I’d scan everything from candy to dead bugs, then slice up the prints and copy them again in endless remix sessions. It was my first dive into image-making, printmaking, and graphic design before I even knew that those things were a thing.
Originally from Puerto Rico, I now live in Los Angeles with my cat Yuki. She has one blue eye and one green eye and her best friend is an 80 lb Belgian Malinois.
All products are designed and made by me in Los Angeles, California. I'm a Sagittarius and like when my nails match objects and environments.
